Not a campaign — a plan, and a plea
I'm one person in a few billion.
I happen to live in California.
This is my plan if I were president — the most I can imagine doing for the place I was born. It isn't perfect. Honestly, nothing will be. But we can do better, and this is me trying.

The plan if I were president — the research, and a society designed around the whole arc of a life.

The bigger ask. One finite planet, one shared people — and a broken system to fix for the next generation.
Read →I'm not a politician, and I'm not pretending I'll ever hold the office. “President” is just shorthand for the biggest thing one person can aim at for where they were born. I took that seriously: I did the homework first, I wrote down the rules I won't break, and I'm naming the hard choices out loud instead of ducking them.
And then there's the part that matters more than any of my ideas — the plea. We share one finite, improbable planet, and we're all just trying to live the best life we can. The line that should unite us is who we are as people, not where we happened to land. That's the real project.
We can do better.
